The Position:

GameChanger is looking for an experienced Content Marketing Strategist to define our content and social marketing strategy, providing thought-leadership and execution to this critical function. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, this individual will be responsible for the strategy, creation, and distribution of content to further GameChanger’s brand and product goals.

In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to create an entirely new content strategy to support GameChanger’s brand within the youth sports community, and to support product initiatives. The ideal candidate has experience creating content strategies and identifying and synthesizing customer interests into compelling content, delivered through cross-channel online and offline programs that drive awareness, consideration, engagement, and loyalty.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop, execute, and continuously refine a content marketing strategy and roadmap to support GameChanger’s goals
  • Support all brand and campaign marketing efforts by providing thought leadership, and content and social channel execution
  • Run content marketing campaigns and growth initiatives end-to-end: develop and maintain editorial calendar, define campaign goals and objectives, and drive execution through completion
  • Establish KPIs for content and social channels
  • Develop content distribution strategy that can expand reach outside of GameChanger’s base
  • Identify strategic content partnership and syndication opportunities to reach and educate new customers
  • Stay abreast of industry best practices for content strategy, and integrate learnings into the overall marketing strategy
  • Ensure all content is on-brand, consistent in terms of quality and tone of voice, for all channels including GameChanger’s The Season, educational/training materials, social media, newsletters, in-product, and more
Requirements:

  • BA/BS with 2+ years experience in content marketing, ideally at consumer tech or media company
  • Experience creating, managing and distributing content (editorial, social, video) developed for consumer audiences
  • Demonstrated success in growing and engaging audiences
  • An understanding of the role of content and social media in the marketing funnel; ability to identify opportunities to impact stages of the funnel through your channels
  • Experience managing both owned and paid social campaigns and tactics
  • Excellent analytical, written and communication skills, with the ability to prepare and deliver presentations to all levels within an organization
  • Strong customer-centric focus
