Frequently Asked Questions

Below are the most frequently asked questions that we receive regularly. If you are experiencing issues with posting content or updating your profile please try logging out of and restarting your browser before trying again. If that doesn't help, please submit a support request to [email protected].

As of right now, all users who wish to post content on have to connected to a Twitter account. If you don't currently have a Twitter account, you can simply create one! It's easy to do and will allow you to use the full breadth of features that has to offer.

When a member can't connect their Twitter account to their profile it's usually because their Twitter is already connected to another account.

Have you created an account in the past that was associated with your Twitter? If you're not sure, try logging in with Twitter and see for yourself.

If you end up being logged into an old account that you no longer wish to use or an account that isn't actually yours, follow these steps:

  • Navigate over to the Linked Accounts page
  • Unlink your Twitter account from the account
  • If you'd like to deactivate the account:
    • Go to Edit Profile
    • Select "Deactivate Account" at the bottom of the page

You cannot have a single Twitter account connected to multiple accounts, so make sure that if you choose to deactivate your account that you first unlink all linked accounts first.

If you previously deactivated your account and now can't log into it to unlink your Twitter, send a support request to [email protected] and let us know which account to unlink Twitter from. currently offers these badges: Badges

All current badges are listed and should automatically populate into your account when you link your accounts. If the badges do not show up within a few hours of linking your accounts, send a request to [email protected] with the list of badges that you should have.

Please be advised, we always check to confirm that you do in fact have the badges that you are requesting.

We have two systems that catch spam on, one of which is automated and the other is our group of Community Catalysts. The automated system regularly flags and removes content that it deems as spam or low quality. The Community Catalysts manually review much of the content on the site and focus on ensuring quality and fairness across the site. We often times default to their expert judgement in regards to removed content.

In regards to being banned, the same rules hold true. Our team is here to ensure that the quality of content and behavior across the community is high quality and fair, so if you were banned, there's a good chance you were doing something that is bad for or irrelevant to the community.

If you truly believe that your content was taken down or you were banned without fair reason, please send us a message explaining why you believe it shouldn't have been taken down.

If you'd like a piece of content to be removed, send an email to [email protected] and share the link to the content that you'd like removed. Please be advised, you have to be the one who posted the content originally for us to remove it.

If you'd like to merge your accounts on for any reason, simply send an email to [email protected] and answer the following questions:

  • Which two accounts would you like to merge?
  • Which account would you like to continue using after the merge?

First, make sure that you're editing the listing from the same account that it was posted from. Then follow these directions:

  • Navigate to My Jobs from the upper righthand corner dropdown menu
  • Select the “...” of the respective job listing that you're hoping to edit
  • Select “Edit” and “Save” when you're done!
  • You can also View Applications, Mark as Filled, View Receipt, and Remove the listing from that same drop down menu.

Not right now. As a team, we decided to take a step back from groups for now. However, there are over 30 groups that are still up and running because of their popularity before the decision to take them down.
