It's a good analysis of the disparity between how we think when we graduate (and what school is designed to teach) vs. what works well in the modern job market. I feel like it was missing a little bit of detail and elegance, but certainly a solid slide deck.
I really enjoyed this Slideshare by Reid Hoffman of LinkedIn/Greylock Partners.
"For anything desirable, there's competition. To beat the competition, you'll need to develop a competitive advantage."
Jonathon, the content you deliver and share is, as always, top-notch. When I see something posted by you and a couple of other people here - I click without any hesitation. The 3 ideas that the author of the presentation discloses in the deck are really eye-opening and inspiring. Thanks to you and to Reid now I am going to revise my assets and my existing network. Thank you for a good start of this week! ;)
Wow, many thanks for your kind words, Slava -- what a great way to start a Monday! Hope to see you posting more here in the future. :)
I learned what Agile approach is from your posts, and then I talked with our CEO and we incorporated this approach in our office overseas.
Wow, that's fantastic! So glad to hear that it's working out for you. Woo-hoo!
