A quarter of all digital marketers receive no formal training from their employers, according to a recent report from eMarketeers.
Moreover, the survey of 108 UK-based digital marketers found that, of those who do receive training, most do so via virtual and self service tools for development rather than structured classes.
Overall, self-learning is the most common training method for digital skills (21% of respondents), followed by personal development programs (13%), webinars (11%), and events (11%). Only 10% of respondents say their companies have internal training programs for digital marketers.
