Thousands of likes? Unsolicited? This is the first time I've heard of such a thing.
How old is your page, and when did the problem start? Did you do something different that might have triggered it?
Hello Daragh My Page is 3 years old and as i mention problem is started from last 3 days
Are these new likes all from some strange country ? Can you understand where they're coming from ?
It's a really strange fact, never heard of anything similar. Not sure how much harm it could do ... but it could harm you a bit. If all these people are not interested in your contents they won't engage with your posts and they could decrease your edgerank score making your post less visible to fans.
Hey Massimo all likes comes from CA USA and all profile are same but with different name like fake profile and its very heavy attack I got 300-400 likes per hour.
Have you had any content go viral from the page? I think this is something you can not really stop and I do not really see why it is a huge issue. The only issue I can see is the interaction rate on the page is probably going to drop on posts which can pose issues, but with changes to edge rank over the last 12 months is something which already targets this. The only other thing I can think of is some one has paid for low quality likes and sent them to the wrong page.
Hey James Thanks for your reply... No I haven't post any content that go viral .. and I have also worry about my edge rank. Facebook has to give rights to admin to stop this types of things or support option to complain about same...
I would try to reach out to Facebook about your concerns. You're going to have deflated engagement percentiles and maybe even EdgeRank wasted on some bots. Sure, the Affinity part of the EdgeRank equation should mean that Facebook's News Feed distribution algorithm is resistant to spam, but I don't know anything about the algorithm which controls what shows up on the news feed.
