My favourite tip here was to create a landing page specifically for visitors from your largest inbound links (things like your social networks, email signature, etc.)
It's common to optimize conversion rates when we're spending money (CPC context) driving traffic to a landing page instead of our home page; but I haven't seen a lot of people using this tactic for their other inbound links that are scattered around the web.
Has anyone tried this and noticed a difference?
