hahaha, I'm pretty sure he's nothing to do with that site. Someone was looking for a little link juice but got denied by the BBC (although we all googled it anyway, oops).
haha. Just for a user's perspective the new site makes it near impossible to find what you're looking for. M&S' target consumers like reliable quality so this change will have put a lot of people off, myself included.
I don't get all the fuss - the link clearly looked like guest post spam: exact match anchor, unrelated content etc. Here's my response:http://internetfolks.com/dear-moz-anything-can-violate-googles-quality-guidelines/
Thanks for the security link, although by "compromised" I mean that if someone got my FB password for example, they could log into a bunch of stuff manually by using it. It's more about targeted attacks than mass hacking.
Poll data is very limited and it's easy to draw wild conclusions from a small sample. All I know for sure is that I prefer social logins because they're easy BUT I don't like to use them because it's less secure - only 1 account needs to be compromised to lose everything. Plus, who knows what kind of data/stats gets shared to the network.
(and yes that bounce exchange thing is very annoying!)
haha, that Trip Advisor one is awesome.
lol. Or worse...there will be no reviews because no-one escapes alive....
Excellent idea for a tool, but I'm not sure how useful "top websites" would be, given that there are so many other linking factors to consider.
It's basic Corpus Linguistics: there's a 2-billion-word web corpora available already: http://corpus.byu.edu/

lol. I wanted this domain too.
Solid advice.
That's genius. I assume it's a PR stunt for TA only (nothing to do with the film company), one that's worked really well.
What other fictional hotels can they add I wonder - the Bates Motel perhaps?
not usually a fan of the HuffingtonPost, but this one was relatable.

that's not a half-bad idea!
Haha, slide 43 is awesome. Nice presentation, pretty useful for anyone that's never tried fb ads.
If those are the basics, I'd hate to see the detailed version! Nice overview though.

So Off-Page > On-Page by a long way then.
haha

Is it wrong that I expected the page to be Parallax too?
