Business first.
That’s the tagline of Element Three, the award-winning Indianapolis marketing communications firm specializing in brand development, marketing strategy and creative execution.
But it’s also the axiom that fuels president Tiffany Sauder’s own approach to growing an enterprise. In a field full of creative briefs, Sauder thinks in spreadsheets: She offers the approach of a financial analyst, arming clients with the best data to make the right decisions.
When the former Eli Lilly financial analyst took the helm of the company in 2006, Sauder was 24. Almost seven years later, at 32, she’s catapulted annual revenues by 450 percent.
Armed with degrees in business and finance from Purdue University’s Krannert School of Management, Sauder helps firms experience that same kind of blockbuster growth—boosting bottom lines by as much as $1 million in six months. HubSpot, the all-in-one marketing software company, named Element Three its 2012 Agency Partner of the Year, citing its number of new clients and sales volume. Element Three became one of only six Platinum Level agencies in the world in 2013.
From coaching businesses on how to become blogging superstars to helping them bring products to market profitably, Sauder understands that success results from an integrated approach to business, brand and creativity.
Sauder has been a featured speaker at Inbound - HubSpot's annual user conference, appeared on Inside INdiana Business, as well as on panels convened by Ad Age and TechPoint. She also served as a guest lecturer at the Herron School of Art and Design.
Though not a fan of running marathon meetings, Sauder does enjoy running half marathons: She’s run a dozen so far. She also serves on the boards of College Mentors for Kids and the Girls and Boys Club of Zionsville.
When she’s not at work, Sauder is putting her family first: She lives in Zionsville with her husband, J.R., and their two daughters.
