As opposed to being an attack, the basis of this post in my opinion was more to discredit his negative review of HubSpot. His examples were general and not at all a reflection on the software itself but of the incorrect use of various components of inbound marketing.
In regards to being biased, it is quite obvious that this post was written by a proponent of HubSpot; someone who uses the software often and sees tremendous value in it not only for the capabilities of the software but for the methodology it. However, I don't think attributing upvotes and the discussion around this post to the fact that inbound.org is run by HubSpot is warranted or in good taste.
This post wasn't created by someone with the intent of getting placed here to advertise for HubSpot or with any prompting from them at all. This post was created to provide a rebuttal by a company who has utilized HubSpot to successfully email market for their clients and create beautiful websites using the COS, among other things.
What makes it "shareworthy" in a community such as inbound.org is the underlying theme that a marketer is responsible for ultimately creating remarkable content, not a software, which is something that was overlooked by Luke in his video and something that is probably overlooked more often than most feel comfortable admitting.

Just my two cents.
