I've been programming on the web for almost half my life now and have always been in the minority as a female in tech but it's never bothered me and no male programmer has made me feel stupid or like I was in some sort of minority.
Feel like if this article was written 5+ years ago this would ring more true. But around me at least there are an abundant amount of females learning and diving into code beyond a WYSIWYG editor and lots of them are better at code than me, huzzah! :)
