What are the current best tools and techniques for researching the potential of an online or mobile product idea? I know folks used to test different pitches using AdWords, and look at SEOmoz data for an idea of demand and how difficult a market would be to break in to. If you had a new product idea today, how would you evaluate it?
You did tell me that story, and somehow my brain silently said "Wow, that's impressive! But that doesn't apply to my idea." But of course, it does apply to my idea! Why does it do that?
