This post assembles many known mechanics of direct response copywriting. More interesting for me is a showcase of these actually in the wild. I am fan of collecting examples proving these composites work in modern marketing.
This is a great overview for any CMO, VP or any marketing professional to increase awareness on how technology and growth of generation C types impact brand marketing. This post will will equip you to align with @Dharmesh's quote, "Instead of interrupting work on attracting."
I've seen extensive click maps in my work and when we have sliders/rotating banners vs. static banners, static banners always get more attention. If you have four sliders for instance and make four content spots or blocks instead, the static blocks get more CTAs.
Without having read all comments here I would like to have a more serialized menu of article types. Also best of week, best of month, best all time. Sometimes I may miss something but it would be nice to know that it is there waiting for me when I get to inbound.org.
Tips, tools, commentary, SEO, rants, etc. There are some classifications (Content, SEO, Analytics) so I ask for a bit more thought there... I use inbound as a staple of my daily reading but it would help me cut to the chase. I read many posts that seem self serving and IMO do not belong. Other times I think inbound is on fire for quality learning and insights you just find in any other central location. Out of the box it serves me well. I use my other lists and readers, but is definitely in my "rounds" Thanks+
Sorry I posted this article too. I talk to many folks everyday, when I say I do "SEO" they get warm and fuzzy.
