Basic question. How do you approach outlining your copy?
I mean both in terms of formatting and demonstrating its value to clients.
I include an outline in all my projects - usually a very simple hierarchical topic list. Sometimes I wonder if I should try another format that could make more of an impact.
I also find that, when talking with clients, they often want to skip the outline to "save time." Of course I try to explain that using an outline DOES save time overall, but they don't budge.
