Comparing using a person's full name, or just a first name, last initial, if degrades the quality/credibility of the testimonial, vrs more-likely that the person won't mind being quoted as a testimonial if they remain slightly-more anonymous. Any thoughts? Thanks.

What are the legalities or permissions required to quote someone for a testimonial? Is there a difference if they email you directly, or post it on a public forum like Facebook, Yelp!, etc. where it is already there for the public to find?
