Hitpath in my opinion is the go to based on my 13 years of dealing with affiliate platforms on both the advertiser and publisher side. You can do quite a few things with their platform and they are agile enough to get something working just like you need.
Yea that is going to be our best bet, We just launched this week. Do you think its better to build a client base and then start adding integrations (salesforce, hubspot, etc) or build a client base before that? Integrations means more customers in the same respect you need to learn your business more before you start adding more variables.
I have to agree, as few steps as possible to capturing data is the key. If new customers had to download an app for a business to capture a lead would dramatically decrease performance. Apps maybe can work for upsells or support using MobiChat. That's why we put the lead capture in the chat instead of having to go to a mobile form or place a call. Been harder then expected getting people to understand this. I have been in B2C marketing for over 13 years and this is one of my first runs at B2B outside of affiliate marketers. Its like Chinese and English :)
Thats a good idea, interesting enough I found an article about b2b marketing which stated the majority of b2b traffic comes from desktop and not mobile. This means I need to market my mobile product to potential customers on the desktop. UGH!
We built this browser based mobile live chat for lead generation called MobiChat (mobichat.com). Do you think we should focus more on getting mobile websites or app owners as customers?
I would focus on what viral options I have available and then think about demonstrating some videos that have been captured in ads. If you could get your hands on a decent celebrity and distribute that video it could be a home run. Are you providing a way for users to SMS videos to their friends in 1 click? can videos only be viewed in the app? Most people will take the time to download your app and view a video to see something a friend has sent. Before you start advertising hard, I would make sure that is all in place.
We may not be a fit for all as mobile is not a major part of everyone's traffic, but for those that do have a substantial amount of mobile traffic. We feel that MobiChat can create a nice uplift in conversions and customer satisfaction. You can watch a demo of the software on our site or click the chat icon from your smartphone and speak to sales and see what your customers see :)
We made this video for our company MobiChat. Its got a kind of "The Office" feel to it. Going to start going viral with it after the holidays. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xcW6NaYjAwo. Any comments are appreciated. :)
When we made it were thinking out of the box. The chat is cool but how we capture leads in the chat is a big part of the patent we have pending. I could do a demo for you both just to show how it works if you wanted to.
In regards to the desktop chat on mobile sites, I really think that the reporting does not split out desktop and mobile. So when managers are checking chat performance, they do not have a true picture of mobile performance.
The whole system is built around making communication and data collection as easy as possible. We made the customer UI browser based for websites but it can be easily added to apps. Here is the brief demo of the software http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rUZMcS8ns00. There are a ton of features I could show you sometime if are you interested in checking it out more.
Our company is bootstrapped and we come from other successful bootstrapped
ventures. I have a question about a problem similar to what I am sure you
experienced when you first started. Our situation is that any company with a
website can use our service, where do we focus our initial marketing efforts? Should
we cast a bigger more general net or develop a strategy, content, etc. for
individual industries?

Social Proof is absolutely necessary in order to get noticed in b2b. What is the best way to get your first customer?

Create a sense of urgency without kicking into sales mode
Worst Advice: Just keep bidding higher :)
