Hi all! One of the challenges I've had with my open houses is that we've made it very easy, quick and simple for a user to sign-up for an open house...great, right? Well, maybe.
What we have seen is a very nice increase in open house registrations, but a not as nice follow-through of actually showing up to the open house. We ask for just name & email address to register to make it easy and convenient, though we have also tested asking for a phone number as well. We will do a variety of confirmations and reminder emails, and phone calls to a registrant if applicable, but have not been thrilled at the follow-through for showing up to the on-campus event. Wondering what experiences others have had, similar or different, and what you may have done / would do in my position?
Important to note: -We have not done follow-up surveys yet (in-progress) -We are also trying to identify if the date & time was convenient and ideal for our guests.
