I agree with your point.. To my opinion the biggest problem with SEO tools in general is the fact that in most cases the people behind the tools are agency related (like Internet Marketing Ninjas). And your providing them with client sensitive information like you mention.

Do you mean the information they ask when filling out the form like (Your Full Name, Company name etc.)? I don't really have problems with providing this information in return for the functionality you get when running the tool. Is the tool you mention a free alternative?

I agree, it's a (multi) video tutorial of the basics you'll need when using the Google drive API.
