Marlon Weems is a financial services veteran with a 30-year career of working with institutional investors. His expertise ranges from algorithmic and electronic trading, to market structure and regulatory compliance. He has held leadership positions at several boutique investment banking firms, and has navigated the start-up of several institutional trading desks. 

He has a network of long-standing relationships with a variety of market participants, from pension funds to Fortune 500 corporations. After over a decade on Wall Street, he left the sell side brokerage to launch Hillcrest Strategies, a financial services consulting and strategy firm focused on the capital markets. He is a contributor to the TabbFORUM website, and has been featured in Benzinga.com, Wall Street & Technology, Securities Technology Monitor, and a number of other financial publications.
