I agree with you Amal. Writing for people (social media) is a nice practice. There are some advantages in this.
1. You can develop interaction with real people and may get ideas for your next blog post.
2. Social media traffic comes like a flood. You can get huge traffic in very little time.
3. If you begin writing for people, search engines automatically follow you.
4. While writing, if you create some keywords, Google will certainly sends you traffic.
For instance, Brian Dean of Backlinko.com invented a term "skyscraper technique". It is not a keyword that existed before.
He wrote it for readers. Now Google caught it and any one searches for that term, "Backlinko" comes first in the results.
