I know what each of these are but I don't know what half of them enable one to do. For example what can I do in regard to SEO once I learn regrex or Python?
This. I did whatever I could to get experience, which meant doing free work at first to get experience.
Find a company you love and you know you could generate results for. Then do whatever you can to work with them, even if you have to do free work. Then convert that into paid work either with them or someone else. Often people won't even ask what you got paid, they'll just care about the results.
