Oh and if you get work emails delivered to your phone. Turn them off. This was a change that I made that has made me much much happier and in a lot of ways more efficient.
Usually the gym, lacrosse, climbing, footie or just seeing friends. I think having a healthy social life is key to being motivated day to day, personally. Although there is the odd time when work does take over, but as long as this isn't every evening/weekend then I'm happy :)
Building brand equity before profit isn't anything particularly new. It's just whether cash flow can be maintained before the scales are tipped in the right direction. The one key thing is that there are considerably less barriers to entry online if you have a good idea and have the ability to create it yourself.
I've seen multiple successful recoveries off the back of a combination of link removal and disavowal in the past few months. Definitely works, just be careful and try and rip down as many site wide links as you can so it looks like you've got a good portion of the bad link profile taken down and you're disavowing the rest.
Great platform for bands to interact with their audience in a really engaging way. I think the success depends on the buy in from some big acts. But I'm sure JT has a few connections to make it happen.
Also a great place for users to interact with content in a really social way. I think MySpace has positioned itself perfectly with this. I just hope it pans out, although they'll never be as big as Facebook there is definitely a place on the internet for MySpace.
Congrats Ed!
If you bought out some nicely designed buttons to "submit to inbound" that I can put at a bottom of my posts that would be great *cough* links *cough*.
The down vote already exists. If you don't like something, don't up vote it.
Interesting post! Would like to see how this would work for promoting bigger events.
Not getting a great sense of ROI though, how much were the 6000 records in the first place? Probably more than $3 each?
Only use Quora for content ideas currently - it will be great to judge how interested people are in each question so I can know which to turn into some badass content ;)
Not that it isn't an interesting article.

Are any SEO's still using anchor text? Sounds like G are way behind the curve with guest blogging links.
In a similar manner to this would be preferable http://www.steveo.com/gallery/pictures/tattoos/big/14.jpg :)

Has anyone seen/experienced any recoveries?
Still waiting on the refresh for that one mate. Hoping that when it happens the disavow will be taken into account, which in theory it should.
