The incredibly small number of shareholders combined with the massive price is pretty astounding. I hope these folks start investing back in the startup ecosystem.

Do you think it was a good purchase Rand ? It seems a crazy price to pay on perceived value, which is really how big the community is and how much of an impact it could make on Facebook's own goal of mobile domination. But I can see the reasons for purchasing it. I suppose Facebook didn't make a dime in their initial years of business. Still, part of me thinks 551 days of business = 1 billion is kind of bubbly.
