The author tag isn’t necessarily new, but it’s definitely taking its time in ‘catching on’, recently however, I’ve seen an increased amount of chatter around the tag, with people heralding 2013 as “the year of the author (tag)”… Ok so maybe I haven’t heard anyone say those exact words, but you get my point.
